I started photography in High School many moons ago. I learned how to shoot with film on a rolleicord and develop it.
After I graduated I moved up to a film Canon Rebel. I absolutely loved this camera. I had it for a long time but I then stopped taking photos other than a point and shoot camera until my son Carter graduated High school. I then went out and bought a digital canon rebel. WOW! I was truly amazed at the quality of images. Since then I have gone through a lot of cameras and lenses but I am still a Canon Girl. I currently have a Canon 5d Mark iv. I will go more into equipment in my first blog.
I am now strictly digital but if I ever get a spare room that I could develop in I might just start doing some film. Digital is so convenient compared to film.
I currently live in Corpus Christi, Tx which in known as the Birdiest city in the USA. So if you notice a lot of bird pictures that is why. Most of my road trips are just day trips so they will be about a 100 mile radius of my hometown.
The picture above is in my favorite spots Grand Teton National Park. I am at a location call Schwabachers Landing. My son Carter married his beautiful Wife Elna which made me an instant grandma to two great young girls. You will see them in my blog from time to time because they travel with us as well. I also have a stepdaughter Nicole who you will see from time to time she tries to travel with us as well.
